With a top crust:
Preheat oven to 425. Prepare piecrust in pie pan. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, lemon, and spices. Add sliced apples and stir to coat. Stir in raisins. (If preferred, raisins can be omitted) Add to pie crust. Add top crust and bake for 35-40 minutes.
With a crumb top:
Preheat the oven to 400.
Ingredients:
½ cup of sugar
¾ cup of flour
1/3 cup of butter melted
Cut together until crumbly and spoon over top. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
