Morgan Collection of Things
Here is a group of things that Jason inherited from his father Richard. All of these things are kept in a wooden box that Richard made for his father (Robert) for Father's Day in 1968. This box is also pictured in this gallery. A lot of the things belonged to William U. Morgan and made their way to Richard probably when he inherited the house at 3817 Davis Ave.

William Ulysses Morgan is the son of James Wright Morgan and Helen Marr Lambert. He was born on October 11, 1878 and died on Apr 1969.
His sisters are: Eliza Isabelle, Minnie May, Unnamed Girl, Nellie Aldora, and Nora Alice. Eliza Isabelle married Alfred Lippert. Minnie May married Harry C. Dick. Nellie Aldora married Paul Garrison. Nora Alice and his unnamed sister died as infants.
William Ulysses Morgan married Edith Isabella Atkinson. She is the daughter of Thompson Atkinson and Mary Ann. She was born on May 19, 1877 in England and died December 21, 1953 in Hamilton County, Ohio.

Florence is the daughter of Henry H Holzhause and Alma A. Bunselmeier. She was born on February 23, 1909 in Napoleon, Indiana and died on December 31, 1992 in Hamilton County, Ohio.
Florence's sisters are: Hazel, Leora Marie, Naome Alma, Cora Pauline, Geneva, and Ruth. Hazel married a Mr. Schalk. Leora Marie married Clifford J. Rolfs. Naome married Harold A. Schalk. Cora Pauline married Mr. True. Geneva married Donald E. Cheesman. Ruth married Mr. Brunton.
Florence's brothers are: Ezra John Frederick, Bobby Gene, and Frederick. Ezra John Frederick married Edith Bommer. Frederick married Lois.

Robert Morgan is the son of William Ulysses Morgan and Edith Isabella Atkinson. He was born on July 3, 1909 and died in Oct 1977 in Hamilton County, Ohio.
His brother is Richard S. Morgan, who married Pearl Silver. His sisters are Helen Morgan, who married Harrold Back, and Mary Morgan, who married Glenn Franke.
Robert Morgan married Florence Holzhause in 1928.

June Morgan... The early photos
The early days are telling as to how June managed to live a long, prosperous life. June and Bob spent much time outdoors and loved the world around them... so much that they started the Morgan family Canoe business. June's accomplishments span from heading up the clean-up of the Little Miami river in Ft. Ancient, OH to being named Homemaker of the Year in 1970 by Family Circle magazine... just to name a few.

June Morgan's Costa Rica
Over 300 images of Morgan's Jungle Lodge and the Costa Rica as June Morgan knew it. Through the years, June was known by various names... names that suited her for the period of life she was in. June loved life and grasped it tightly. Her immersion in the things she did and the passion for which she loved them was what gained her various names.
June spent much time in Costa Rica and at the Morgan Jungle Lodge and she was known as Jungle June to everyone around her. We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do.
