Hungarian Goulash

Ingredient List:
2 lbs. - beef cut in cubes
2 tbls. - shortening
1 - onion sliced
1 - green pepper chopped
1 tbls. - paprika
1 1/2 tsps. - salt
1 - can peeled tomatos
2 to 3 cups - water
1 large - potato cubed
2 tbls. - flour
1/2 tsp. - all spice
 
Directions:
Brown beef in shortening. Add onion, pepper, paprika, salt, tomato, all spice, and water. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. until meat is tender. Add potato and cook 30 minutes longer. To thicken, mix 2 tbls. flour with water to make a paste and add to broth. Serve over cooked noodles.
